MANAGER INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT MANAGER) wanted at Associated Investment & Development Corporation

Seeking a dynamic MANAGER INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT MANAGER) with superior interpersonal skills. The ideal incumbent must have a varied, but strong technical background and experience in managing multiple customers, while supporting business-critical systems.

Essential Skills and proven experience required for this role:

• Linux/Unix and Windows, Kerio/MS Exchange- specialist level
• PHP C C++ programming skills
• VB would be an added advantage
• Sound knowledge in motor dealer management (DMS) and accounting systems (ERP), specifically with regards to Automate and Autoline
• Risk management and security
• Hands-on experience in firewall setup, routing table, switch configuration, cabling skills
• Database administration and reporting
• Disaster recovery (DR) planning and implementation & monitoring
• Ability set up and manage LAN/WAN

Experience: Minimum of 10 years

Previous experience in managing DMS’s in motor dealerships and being able to diagnose maintenance requirements on electronic equipment will be an added advantage.

Qualification: Qualified Programmer preferably a qualified electronic technician.

In addition to overseeing the IT strategy, plans and protocols, the successful applicant will be responsible for IT vendor and supplier management, supporting business-critical systems and providing business intelligence through custom-designed reports and dashboards. Extended periods of travelling across vast distance required.
