Botswana Unified Revenue Service (BURS) is a semi-autonomous organization of Government responsible for assessing and collecting tax revenue as well as border administration. TECHNICAL ANALYST (SECURITY) x 1

Main Purpose of the Job

Implements new designs and modifications to BURS IT security installations. Verifies and validates performance levels and availability status of all BURS IT security implementations against set standards. Reports any deviation from the set security parameters and implements approved modifications to mitigate anomalies.

Position Requirements

Qualifications: Degree in Information Technology related discipline and an Industry Certification, e.g. CCNA security, Security + or equivalent.

Experience: At least two (2) years relevant post-qualification experience at Officer level or equivalent with a good background in Information security systems.

Salary: BURS 06 (P195, 552 – P262, 740 per annum)
