Reporting to the Chief Operations Oicer, the incumbent will be expected to direct Information Security Strategy to ensure that BTC Information and data assets are protected. The incumbent will develop, enhance, maintain policies and procedures.
In addition to the above, management of security technologies and the establishment of appropriate standards and controls is a key component. You will be required to provide oversight and guidance for Information Technology security-related activities and to establish quantitative metrics to measure Information System’s security preparedness, business continuity and disaster recovery across the value chain within the organization.
You will be required to ensure that all BTC properties are secure and provide identity and access management.
You will be responsible to develop and enhance an enterprise risk management framework in conjunction with other business units. Work directly with the business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes.
The ideal candidate should have Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent with nine (9) year’s professional experience in the Information Technology/Telecommunications environment, of which five (5) years should be in the Security Information Technology environment. A professional Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) is a requirement. Membership of a relevant professional association will be an added advantage.
