FINANCIAL RISK AND COMPLIANCE MANAGER

To hand an independent risk over-sight department that defines and implements a framework to approve, monitor and report of financial risks and exposure arising business activities according to set principles.
The candidate should be able to identify, document and monitor key risk indicators. This involves the development of a framework for process improvement that is setting up processes that will ensure a coherent process within the department.

To oversee department activities and coordinate with other business units so as to achieve the company’s mission, vision, objectives and core values.
To ensure the issue of ethics and compliance are adhered to.
To determine the default risk
To formulate sound risk policies for the company.
Maintain risk registers.

Requirements
Qualifications, Skills And Experience

Holder of University Degree in Risk Management and/or Finance. A qualification in the related discipline will be ad added advantage.
Must have integrity and a high sense of ethical responsibility
Should be result orientated, good team player with self-drive and good interpersonal and communication skills.

Candidate should demonstrate a good understanding of key financial regulation guiding the non-bank financial sector.
At least 5 years practical experience finance, risk and marketing
