Operations Manager – Crossroads

An opportunity exists tar an Operations Manager based in Gaborone.

Provide an efficient and superior service to Crossroads’ clients which will include but not limited to;

• Budgeting & controlling ol costs against agreed Company and Customer KPI’s.
• Managing fleet utilisation
• Compliance to ISO, SHEQ and SQAS processes
• Responsible for a motivated and productive team
• Training and development of staff
• Compliance to legal and company standards
• Reporting – monthly on financial and operations results.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years of transport experience at a managerial level
• Knowledge and experience in HR and IR matters
• Knowledge, leadership and practical experience in safety, health and environmental requirements in the workplace as well as per Customer requirements

Qualifications

• Cambridge O’ Level plus a relevant transport qualification INational Diploma or Degree is required
• Qualification in Dangerous Goods and Hazchem is required
• A valid driver s license with reliable transport
• Computer literacy in Microsoft, Google Chrome and other relevant applications
• Should possess strong leadership, communication, negotiation and admin skills
• Must be prepared to work Itexi-hours in a stressful working environment
• Must be able to work independently
