OPERATIONS MANAGER

OUTPUTS

• To support Service Operations through the effective management of the Service, Parts and After Sales for Jwaneng operation
• Manage Parts and Service Department and customers
• Attend monthly meetings with suppliers in order to manage the contract and quality of the processes and negotiate pricing, turnaround times, etc
• Perform general management and maintenance functions (e.g. safety / image / maintenance issues)
• Ensure achievement of financial targets
• Manage quality of sample interpretation (Ad hoc feedback from customers, including customer complaints, is a tangible measure to be developed to measure the quality of sample interpretation)
• Work closely with After Sales to understand demands and customer requirements
• Manage accounting function, ensuring correct payments are made and provisions are effectively managed

REQUIREMENTS

• BCom or B Engineering Degree
• At least 7 years experience of which the past 5 years should be at senior managerial level
• FMP/LDP will be an added advantage
• Strong leadership skills and ability to perform a wide range of duties
• Excellent planner, motivator, able to cope and thrive under pressure
• Must be detailed orientated, shrewd in decision making
• Problem solving and analysis
