Honest Harvest Farm (Pty) Ltd is a commercial farm measuring approximately 1000ha located 15kms away from Francistown on Nata road. The farm seeks to employ an experienced AGRICULTURAL – BUSINESS MANAGER to oversee all areas of production, including crop and animal production.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

The post holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of the farm strategy.

The job will also include;

• Development and implementation of strategies for maximum yield
• Development of short and long term business plans
• Management of all farm operations; maintenance of farm machinery, buildings and equipment;
• Human resource management;
• Financial and Budgetary Control
• Oversee financial analysis and bookkeeping
• Enforce compliance with safety standards and government regulations.

Qualification

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or related area.
• A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.

Experience and Skills

• A minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in a similar environment.
• Good technical knowledge, product marketing and sale, and business acumen are the necessary skills for the position.
