Warehouse Manager – Sandvik

The Warehouse Manager will be mainly responsible for the following duties amongst other things:

• Ensures Administration and operation of the organisation’s warehoused, including, processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment functions satisfactory
• Ensures warehouse processes are maintained and managed to limit financial risks, including goods returned, credit, receiving & dispatch processes
• Accounts for all material and supplies in the stores facilities, audits goods received into the warehouse
• Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials and related reporting in accordance with established procedures
• Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space
• Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization and maintenance and protection for facilities and equipment

Qualification

• 2 years managerial level experience WITH at least a Bachelors Degree in Inventory Management, Accounting and/or Purchasing and Supply from a recognized institute OR at least 5 years experience in either inventory and/ or supply chain management
• Excellent skills in communication, analytical, well-structured and organized
• Excellent in excel and ERP inventory systems
• Experience in mining/technical/engineering environment is an added advantage
• Must display safety leadership at all times
• A clean class 4 driver’s license plus valid defensive driving license
• Prepared to travel
