A specialist understanding of the maintenance execution process, policy, procedures and standards. The ability to develop overall maintenance execution guidelines, templates and standards. Furthermore, the ability to oversee execution of maintenance interventions by performing checks of the quality and completeness of all maintenance interventions on a continuous basis and taking corrective actions across plants, taking into account the defined maintenance requirements from maintenance engineering and the maintenance scheduling.
Degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent. Membership of a recognised professional engineering institution preferred.
Five (5) years post qualification experience in the power environment, two (2) years of which will have been in power system protection.

The ability to organise, coordinate and prioritise maintenance execution by allocating resources (ensuring the correct parts, tools, etc are available to execute) to the correct teams and monitoring of the performance of these teams within plants. The ability to, based on maintenance requirements and time constraints determine whether resources need to be sourced externally or internally. Further to this, the Scheduling manager must have the ability to move teams between plants based on resource requirements.
