LEATHER DESIGNERS NEEDED (x2)

EXPERIENCE
*With a 6months or more experience

SHOULD HAVE THE ABILITY TO;
* make both handmade and machine sewed leather products,
*do your own leather designs with addition to the patterns we already have for our leather products( bags(luggage, handbags, shepherd’s bags,….), belts, wallets, purses, sandals, etc)
*repair and replace both car interior, sofas, couches(Appostry at large),
*make and maintain templates for every work produced for consistency and integrity purposes.
*be very creative with style and aestheticism attached to your craftsmanship, and be at par with the brand we’ve created already,
*do leather tinting or dying and engravings,
*measure accurately and take sizes for orders to AVOID ANY LEATHER WASTAGES( leather it’s very expensive),
*use social media platforms to sell the business and create a good customer base or lucrative market
*be fluent in both Setswana and English (we deal with artists, ministers; church members and leaders; tourists, modelling agencies; business owners; shops or stores; we attend both shows, expos and competitions; and serve the community at large,
*Should be very good in using Microsoft office and operating a computer and any other peripherals

HOUSEKEEPING
*you shouldn’t damage, misplace nor lose any leather tools if so report such
*all leather offcuts or small pieces ain’t supposed to be thrown away,
*every morning and afternoon both the interior and exterior of the workshop should be thoroughly cleaned
*no eating inside the workshop nor any liquids(fats, oils, water)are allowed in,
*No smoking nor drinking inside the workshop nor when operating in anyone’s car.

DRESS CODE
*Strictly PPE ( you shall be provided with overalls, hats, safety boots, goggles and gloves)

*or two valid references and recommendation letter for leatherwork only,
*copy of drivers license,
*aged 20years and above

REMUNERATION

*BWP1200( with an increase upon satisfactory performance) *plus a commission per target given monthly,
NB: you should be having an active bank A/c or orange money a/c.

INCENTIVES

WORKING DAYS
* 5 days per week and sometimes a half-day(Saturday)

#EXPECT BOTH A VERBAL INTERVIEW AND PRACTICAL, THEREAFTER YOU SHALL UNDERGO A THOROUGH 5 DAYS TRAINING.
