The successful candidate will
– Be in charge of steering and directing overall day to day operations of the factory.
– Plan, organise and manage the provision of efficient manufacture of products
– Plan and ensure efficient re-upholstery and customisation of products according to client requests
– Establish operational policies and implement process improvements to ensure superior quality and outstanding output
– Ensure strict quality control policies
– Direct and manage Operations, Finance, and Administration sections
– Design marketing materials and develop strategies to increase sales and product recognition
– Supervise pricing and inventory policies and functions to ensure competitive pricing and achievement of projected gross margin
– Generate regular reports (Finance and Operations)
– Ensure all company regulatory requirements are adhered to

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
– Achievement of production targets
– Achievement of timely delivery of products to clients
– Ensure timely budgeting and restocking
– Achieve cost effective and efficient manufacturing strategies
– Issues and complaints handling and resolution
– Effective utilisation of resources
– Production of regular (Monthly and annual) reports (Financial and Operations)
– Adherence to Tax Legislative requirements
– Ensure regular marketing of current and new products / services
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for someone who has:
1. Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting and Business Studies, AAT or equivalent
2. Degree in any Business Administration or related field
EXPERIENCE
– At least 3 years relevant post qualification experience for Diploma
– At least 2 years relevant post qualification experience for Degree
