TEMPORARY ISPAAD CLERK (4 POSTS)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified citizens of Botswana for the post of Temporary ISPAAD clerk tenable in Tutume Sub District Crop Production Office for a period of 4 months from date of commencement of duty.

SALARY : B3 Scale bottom notch (P 3 216.00/month)

LEAVE: 20 working days per annum

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To perform ISPAAD clerical functions related to Accounts / Administration for the sub district

QUALIFICATIONS
-Minimum of Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education with a credit in Mathematics and should be able to read and write both English and Setswana
-18 – 35 years of age
-Have no criminal record
-Must be physically and mentally fit
-Must be of sober habits

DUTIES
-Facilitating preparation of payment vouchers for ISPAAD farmers
-Maintaining proper records of monetary transactions
-Verifying documents for accuracy
-Filing all documents related to the program according to the established system for record and inspection purposes
-Providing information or record when needed e.g weekly report
-Undertaking any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor to meet the exigencies of the service
