User Experience Specialist – FNB Botswana Finance

PURPOSE

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum qualification:Bachelor’s degree in quantitative discipline
• Minimum years of relevant experience:3 years
• Preferred Qualification:Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent
• Additional required certification:Software development
• Data Analytics
• A solid design background with an eye for visual and interaction details
• Experience working with user-cantered design principles and best practices, visual design, and user behavior and interaction models

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create visual designs that effectively communicate product function and brand identity, including the design and production of screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements, and icons
• Produce user requirements specifications, journey maps, service blueprints, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, interactive prototypes, and design specifications.
• Utilize project management skills to follow up on user experience issues and modify design features to accommodate a wide range of end users.
• Direct, conduct usability testing and work closely with product developers.
• Designing and developing user surveys to obtain user feedback
• Act as the user-advocate during the development process, subjecting early-stage designs to usability testing or expert review, and offering implementation suggestions
