OVERVIEW OF ROLE
- Assist in driving Operations performance towards a Client focused culture and delivery – creating and monitoring operations key performance indicators for the Central Review Team
- To be the key interface for collecting, populating, monitoring and coordinating performance information in Central Review Team
JOB DESCRIPTION
Tracking of Operations Strategic Initiatives (30%)
- Evaluate and embed new operational measures to put the In-country at the forefront of the market
- Translate Compliance focus areas (strategy) into traceable performance measures
- Inform internal clients of emerging trends and deviation from target to assist with achievement of strategic objectives.
Management Information and Performance Management (40%)
- Working closely with the Performance and Analytics Manager to formulate the overall operations performance management strategy
- Prepare ad-hoc presentations/packs or reports as per management request
- Provide daily /weekly/ monthly reporting as required by Performance and Analytics manager, senior management, and regional office.
- Liaise with the African MI Team via conference calling and ensure reporting is per required definitions and standard.
- Electronically extract data from the Information Warehouse (IW) and other sources to create reports and publish them in electronic media
- Ensure management information is updated and reported via email, portal or plasma screen.
Service Improvement & Trend Analysis (30%)
Support and embed operations initiatives: Work closely with operations managers to devise meaningful dashboards and provide robust commentary

- Work closely with Performance Improvement and effectively advice of performance gaps
- Sharing best practice with other Operations teams and providing feedback to the Performance and Analytics Manager
- Champion the cultural change needed to re-enforce consistent World Class performance.
- Communicating performance information back to clients to achieve service excellence
- Clearly communicating business direction to colleagues by use of business measures.
- Organizing a range of face-to-face communication events when required, working closely with the Performance and Analytics Manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE,COMPETENCIES
- B-degree in Business Information Systems or equivalent
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a large business environment

- A comprehensive knowledge of the Banking Operations.
- A good understanding of Operations core activities & services.
- Ability to be innovative and creative when dealing with operational solutions to meet key client requirements
- A good knowledge of Bank policies and procedures
- A thorough understanding of the end-to-end process & workflow
- A good knowledge of each customer segments service requirements
- Awareness of the competitive environment
- In depth knowledge and application of Communication, promotional planning and events management fields both internal and external best practice including techniques and associated tools.
Preferred
- A performance management and reporting background
- Business intelligence tools expertise
- Previous operational management experience
- Detailed awareness of current and emerging Industry Best Practices and World Class Benchmarks in Service Provision and Performance.
- Knowledge of business performance management methodologies such as Balanced Score card, Six Sigma e.t.c.
- Knowledge of the Company’s Africa’s current operating models and the Information Data warehouse
