CIVIL ENGINEER wanted at Botswana Railways

Main Purpose of the Job

To plan, design and oversee construction and maintenance of infrastructure, such as railway connectivity, bridges, dams and sewerage systems. To maximise availability, reliability and safety of permanent way, associated structures and real estate to meet the business and operational demands of the railway in the most cost-effective manner.

Position Requirements:

Educational: Bachelor of Engineering Degree (BEng) in Civil Engineering

Professional/
Technical Qualification: Membership of Engineers Registration Board is a must and Botswana Institute of Engineers as an added advantage.

Experience: At least 7 years post qualification experience in a similar role; five (5)years which should have been served at managerial level.
