Chief Finance Officer – Liquid Telecom

The Chief Financial Officer will oversee all finance, accounting, forecasting budgeting treasury, tax and procurement functions of the company This role directs all financial activities and advises and assists the regional CFO and local MD in meeting or exceeding the overall financial and strategic objectives of the Company The CFO is responsible for providing a strategic leadership for the company by working with the Executive Management Team to establish long-range goals. I strategies, plans and policies

To qualify you will need:

• Degree or similar academic qualification
• CA/ACCA/CIMA
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience at a senior managerial level
• Knowledge of Financial systems and Governance

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Financial Reporting Planning Analysis and Controlling
• Corporate Finance and Treasury
• Business Strategy and Planning
• Corporate Governance and compliance
• Human Resources and Administration

Skills and experience required:

• Knowledge and Implementation of financial standards, policies, and procedures
• Experience preparing financial forecasts
• Planning, preparation and management of the budgets
• Accounting of revenues and expenses management
• Manage cash flows
• Preparation of financial reports
• Planning and management of financing requirements
• Financial business planning and forecasting for projects and ventures
• Management of a finance team
• Coordination of external audits and filing of tax returns
• Preparation of management and Board meeting reports and Information
• Management of Finance and Procurement team and functions
• Excellent negotiations skills to negotiate with customers and suppliers to ensure working capital and capital expenditure are optimally structured
• Corporate governance and compliance
• Excellent relationships with banks, auditors and suppliers
• Experience in the telecommunications industry would be an asset
• As the CFO oversees the HR function, HR knowledge will be an added advantage
