- Lead recruitment. Your role is to find and develop talent for the organisation. This also relates to onboarding, contract creation and renewal;
- Develop and implement a recruitment strategy.
- Contract facilitators and full time-staff, ensuring that there are title and role alignment,
- Document the Young1ove HR Recruitment Process.
- You will drive workflows relating to compliance with labour laws and regulations together with other HR-related responsibilities such as terminal benefits, taxes, pensions, and other employee-related benefits;
o Update the HR Manual, incentive and benefits package.
- Organisational effectiveness. You will lead the team bonding and culture initiatives as well as ensuring that the team is productive. Furthermore, you will develop a professional development plan encompassing talent and skills of team members such that they meet organisation goals and milestones;
- Design and manage annual performance management process
- Organize events and plan logistics with stakeholders advancing Young love’s mission and values, o Manage office and facilities including cleaning, gardening and security services
- Database management You will develop and maintain databases for volunteers, fulltime staff and alumni. Furthermore, this relates to maintenance of records; new hires, resignations, terminations, changes in job roles, merit increases; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
Qualifications:
This person will ideally enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent project management, logistics and communication skills. They should have a Bachelors, excel skills and organisational abilities. This person should be innovative, all about people development and the ability to work on projects from top-to-bottom with minimum oversight.
Characteristics:
- Technical Skills – A combination of Excel, Writing, Database and Project Management & Logistics.
- Detail oriented – Can process, record and react to details relating to effective implementation, and then produce written work which capture “the devil in the details.”
- Ability to create “structure out of nothing”- Strong ability to turn a visual reality or imagined outcome into a codified set of steps, actions and goals on paper.
- Willingness to learn – Must be able to balance having a set of strong skills and track record with openness to feedback, learning, growth and collaboration among colleagues.
- Teamwork – Good interpersonal skills; ability to lead teamwork sessions; demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships in a multi-cultural environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
- Energy, positivity, motivation and stamina – Must be able to remain enthusiastic and produce quality work under pressure, relentlessly driving for progress with a “go-getter” and positive attitude.
- Self-starter – The creative energy and drive to innovate and take deliverables a step further within a set time frame.
Time period: 2-year contract, with potential for extension pending performance.
