PART-TIME SENIOR LECTURERS – SCHOOL OF POSTGRADUATE STUDIES – BOTSWANA ACCOUNTANCY COLLEGE

Main Purpose of the Job

The School of Postgraduate Studies is Botswana Accountancy College’s flagship faculty for masters’ degree and continuing education programmes – with master’s
programmes in strategic management, project management, MBA, and procurement and logistics management. The School also offers a variety of postgraduate certificate and diploma courses in areas of risk management, finance, public sector procurement, and project management. The School is a place to innovate, engage and learn throughout life.

The School is seeking to recruit suitably qualified Senior Lecturers on a part-time (adjunct) basis to teach and research in the various programmes it is offering. The School is recruiting part-time staff with specialism in any of the following areas:

•Risk management
•Wealth management
•Finance and investment
•International banking and
finance
•Monitoring and evaluation
•Research methodology
•Research and public policy
•Leadership and management
•Business strategy
•Innovation and entrepreneurship
•Fraud, data and cyber security
•Tourism and hospitality management

Experience and qualifications:
Applicants should be highly experienced, with at least 6 years post qualification experience in teaching in tertiary education and should hold at least a master’s degree (or equivalent: e.g., Professional qualification plus Fellowship) in any area of specialization above. Preference will be given to applicants with Doctorate Degree. Candidates with teaching certificate or related teaching qualification recognised by BQA (or any other recognized qualification authority) have an added advantage.
