Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of Records Assistant in the Ministry for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration tenable in Gaborone.
SALARY SCALE: B2/3 (P51, 432 – P60, 372) per annum
LEAVE: 20 working days per annum
(i) BENEFITS: Optional Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50% and employee 50%)
(ii) Contributory Pension Scheme (Government pays 15% and employee 5%)
QUALIFICATIONS: Certificate in Archives and Records Management.
EXPERIENCE: Direct Entry.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To process current and semi current records and retrieve files for action officers.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Retrieve files for action officers.
• Circulate mail.
• Arranges files according to classification scheme
• Conducts file census survey.
• Researches on records management issues.
• Undertakes any other related duties as may be assigned by Management.
