JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Application testing
2. Gathering issues and problems from users
3. Programming
4. Assistance in programming application fixes
5. Work with LIC on the design and specification of new features and enhancement
6. Provide training to programmers
7. Apply Operating System and related software patches and fixes
8. Document Operational procedures
9. Perform scripting, testing and documentation of job scheduling according to LIC stated requirements
10. Administer and maintain JIRA
11. Administer and maintain Confluence
12. Administer and maintain MadCap Flare
13. Administer and maintain “Active Directory” Lightweight Directory Services
14. Respond to JIRA tickets and resolve or escalate any identified issues
15. Troubleshoot abnormal system response such as server timeouts, slow application response and errors
16. Deploy application patches and database scripts when update are required
17. On-call support
18. Maintain ArcGIS Server on the UA, Staging, and Production environments
19. Troubleshooting by checking logs
20. Monitor patch announcements for server operating systems, application, and network devices
21. Apply applicable patches in development and UA environments
22. If no problems are detected in the development environment, the patches will be recommended to be deployed to Production and Disaster Recovery during the next maintenance window.
23. Assist in deploying software patches and upgrades

REQUIREMENTS

1. An Honours degree in Computer Science
2. 2 or more years experience in Client Server applications, Web Based applications, C#, XHTML/HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, Java, Ms SQL, Oracle, XML, JSON
