Head of Conformance & Assurance will Lead and directly manage a team of Quality Assurance (QA) professionals in the execution of robust quality assurance measurement programs looking. This is mainly concentrated on ensuring adherence to credit policies and procedures across the group.

•Conformance and assurance reviews
•Support sustainable and predictable growth of the business by ensuring there are controls on credit risk.
•Review and monitor the processes of underwriting and collections departments to keep them in line with policy.
•Establish robust governance through escalation matrix and an sign-off process
•Ensuring compliance of all products with the Letshego profitability threshold and KPI triggers
•Maintain and update Credit RCSA for the Group
•Maintain a tracker of all issues raised in Audits, Business Reviews and Regulatory Audits
•Ensures awareness of best practice methods and trends, conduct prompt investigation of customer credit applications and make appropriate recommendations when required

Qualifications:
•A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Accounting, Finance and Administration or any related field
•Minimum of 6 years working experience in a financial institution is required of which at least 4 should be at managerial level.

Experience:
•QA Management experience
•Be a strong leader with experience in implementing and shaping the company’s QA processes and strategies.
•Have strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment.
•Strong communication skills with all the key stakeholders to ensure QA vision is understood and implemented correctly.
•Be an advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement and industry recognized Best Practices.
•Excellent knowledge of Risk Management, Risk Identification and Risked Based Testing.
•Experience managing testing departments or testing functions, managing large and complex activities and processes.
Knowledge of the following is an added advantage;
•Audit Experience
