Group operating Steel Re-Rolling Mills, Iron Foundries, Steel Forging & Fabrication Industries, Oxygen Producing Plant having installed Induction Furnace, Oil Fired reheating Furnaces, Coke Fired Cupola Furnace, Reheating oil-fired furnaces. Other main Machinery installed in Steel Re-Rolling Mills, overhead cranes, foundry machinery, forging presses, various other machinery, vehicles and material handling equipment have vacancy tor Senior Health & Safety Officer.

Job Description:

Expertise required in Designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organization. Responsible for performing a risk assessment, risk evaluation and creating business continuity plans to limit risks. Conducting policy & compliance audits and maintaining records of insurance policies & claims. Reviewing any new major contracts or internal business proposals, building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company.

Maintenance & examination of plant and equipment. Drafting and Implementing health & safety policy, procedures. Conducting safety audits, safety inspections & field surveillance. Implementing preventive measures by determining the nature of hazards, compliance of corrective actions. Handling emergency preparedness & response, Fire protection system, Mock drills and on-site emergency plans. Imparting safety training to all employees maintaining records, coordinating for overall environmental management program including air emissions, wastewater treatment and solid waste handling.

Experience of a minimum of Five (5) years required within the similar industry with a similar position. Applicant should be suitably qualified Diploma / Degree holder, with expertise in related/ similar industry.
