– Form 5/BGSCE
– Driver’s License
– Fluent in English & Setswana
– Computer Literacy
– Good Communication Skills
– Minimum 1 year experience in sales or related
KEY ACTIVITIES
1. Ensure availability of product/service information for customer use by preparing stock (scratch cards) the evening before ready for sales the next day by:
1.1. Taking stock which is safely kept, and ensure to take the right amount of scratch cards (be-mobile, orange, mascom) to mitigate against carrying too much stock when going out to sell2. Make sure that you have enough stock in order to sell to your customer
3.Regularly place stock orders as and when required by doing the following:
3.1. Using the order book to place an order
3.2. Handover the orders to the FM in order for him to process them
4. Ensuring to have all the necessary tools /devices with you when going out to customers such as:
4.1. Scratch cards
4.2. Invoice books for all the networks (orange – be-mobile & Mascom)
4.3. Calculator
4.4. Coin machine for those paying
4.5. Collection bag for those paying
5. Check and examining the vehicle before departing for sales
6. Carry out customer visitations and manage payments every morning
6.2. Collect any outstanding money from customers that have already purchased
7. Ensure banking is accurately done on a daily basis once you return to the office after doing the sales rounds
7.1. Sort your cash according to the different denominations for ease of banking purposes
7.2. Cross check your sales for the day as recorded in the sales record book and see if the sales and cash on hand tally’s or balances
7.5. Take the money to the administration office in preparation for the security company to collect the cash for banking.
8. Service walk in clients and drive sales throughout the day at the office
8.4. Ensure that you cross-sell and up-sell every day, tell yourself that you are going to sell something to every customer who comes to you
9. Carry out business development work one day in the week by finding customers and making sales out of town
B. Customer Relations Management
10. Receive and process customer requests efficiently and in a timely manner
11. Address customer queries and enquiries and escalate where necessary.
12. Log all customer interactions and complaints
13. Provide information and support on current promotions/campaigns and available products and services.
14. Ensure retention and satisfaction of customers through provision of excellent customer experiences.
15. Implement loyalty and retention initiatives
16. Maintain confidentiality of customer information
EDUCATION REQUIRED
- Minimum BGCSE
- Drivers License
- Computer Literate
- Ability to communicate in both Setswana and English
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- One (1) or more years work experience in Sales or a related field
- Experience handling cash transactions in a Sales related Environment

- Total revenue
- Revenue by product or product line (Mascom, Orange, Be-mobile)
- Market penetration
- Percentage of revenue from new business
- Percentage of revenue from existing customers (cross-selling, upselling repeat orders/requests)
