In-house Accountant Required

We are an energetic company and are looking for a passionate individual to join our organization and;
– Revitalize our record keeping and bring more organization to our day to day financials;

Key responsibilities will include:

• Performing monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing of financial reports/support as necessary;
• Analysing and reporting on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis;
• Improving systems and procedures and initiating corrective actions;
• Overseeing of taxes and abiding by Botswana Unified Revenue Services (BURS) regulations
The incumbent will perform a wide variety of responsibilities relating to accounting and record keeping.

Skills required:
– 2-3 years accounting experience
– Minimum of Advance Certificate in Accounting with AAT or CAT qualification
– Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks
– Advanced computer skills in MS Office and databases
– Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
– The position requires the incumbent to have excellent eye for detail
– Internal audit experience
– Must be registered with BICA
