Assistant Risk Officer- Physical Security wanted at Diamond Trading Company Botswana (DTCB)

Diamond Trading Company Botswana (DTCB) if a 50/50 Joint Venture Partnership between the Government of the Republic of Botswana and De Beers Group is the world’s largest and most sophisticated rough diamond sorting and valuation operation.

We are looking for an innovative and creative Assistant Risk Officer- Physical Security to carry out the delivery of daily security services including the provision of escort services, searches, patrol activities and access control.

The individual will be responsible to act on any policy and procedural violations and report, man all access control points (security gates, receptions, search rooms) and check documentation of persons entering and leaving buildings and site, carry out searches of persons, vehicles, equipment and machinery in accordance with procedures among others.

Knowledge and skills required are. good industry and best practice knowledge, security systems and processes, diamond trading legislation, communication, teamwork, problem solving and analytical thinking.

You are required to have BGCSE plus 3 months on the job training and one year experience in the security industry. A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
