Network Infrastructure Manager – Jenny Internet

With minimal supervision, perform tasks associated with planning, managing, coordinating and building wireless networks. The infrastructure manager will communicate via phone, email and in-system notes with client and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Train and enable a team
• Plan, manage and build wireless networks
• Manage team of network field technicians
• Manage attendance to site infrastructure support calls
• Maintain Network infrastructure as directed
• Plan and supervise the installation of electrical wiring on all sites and towers
• Radio Link Planning
• Inspect and service network infrastructure
• Equipment management
• Overseeing large projects and prepare progress reports
• Prioritize and respond to all network issues in a timely manner.
• Performance of any other ad-hoc duties as requested by management
• Produce field support documentation and write incident reports as appropriate
• Perform proactive monitoring of the core and edge network using various tools.
• Work collaboratively with both internal teams and third-party vendor support and engineering teams
• Maintain stock control and ensure stock levels

Requirements

• Must have management experience.
• Must have project or infrastructure management experience.
• Drivers licence essential
• Must be able to work flexible hours
• Must be willing to travel long distances
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• A valid passport is required
