MANAGER, EXTENSION & IN-SERVICE TRAINING

THE REQUIREMENTS

The right candidate must meet the following minimum requirements, among others;
• Possess A Bachelor’s Degree in Distance Education/ Education Management, or related field.
• Possess at least eight (8) years’ experience, two (2) of which should have been at supervisory
level in educational extension activities in a University environment and possess advanced
knowledge of a tertiary education environment.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of academic governance and teaching leadership.

DUTIES:
The successful candidate will be coordinating activities of open and distance learning professional
development, as well as, continuing education programmes; Leading programmes and portfolio
related activities; Developing and managing the administration strategy of the Centre and
managing administrative workflows; Developing, interpreting and implementing learning &
teaching policies; Coordinating the review of academic programs offered by the Centre; Establishing, building and maintaining networks and partnerships.
