Accounts Officer – Botswana Power Corporation

​Operational Management 

Maintains General Ledger.

Process and capture input data into accounting systems.​

Checks verification and exception reports from accounting systems for completeness and accuracy of data and takes corrective action.

Records Management

Takes responsibility for keeping accounting records up to date and accurate in order to monitor cash flow and keep credit under control.

Maintain up to date and accurate financial records.

Internal and External Client Management

Attends to and resolves queries timeously to maintain high-level customer satisfaction​.

Reconciliation

Reconcile specified control accounts to ensure that financial records are accurate.​​

Compliance

Adherence to internal controls and audit recommendations to meet corporate objectives and accounting standards.​​

Safety, Health and Environment

Ensures compliance to SHER procedures when carrying out duties.​
