SENIOR ACCOUNTANT 

Established and well respected organisation in the tourism industry is looking for a senior accountant to join their growing team

Minimum Academic Qualification,

• Diploma or certificate in Accounting or Bookkeeping This is a senior position so candidates with an ACCA qualification or studying towards this qualification will be advantageous

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a senior position Team management experience will be beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Good interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of SAGE Evolution would be highly beneficial.

Job Description:

• Oversee the entire accounting function for a specific entity within the organisations tourism group. This includes:
  • Collation of month management packs.
  • Management and reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
  • Monthly cashbook capturing and reconciliation.
  • Management of stock accounts including oversite of monthly stock counts.
  • Management of fixed asset register.
  • Oversite of debtors’ book including regular interaction with debtor’s controller and reservations department.
  • Management of creditors age analysis.
  • Preparation and submission of all statutory tax payments
  • Performance of other administrative duties as required.

This position is a full-time position based in Maun. Botswana
