GET TECHNICIAN

JSI Rocktools (Pty) Ltd invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of GET Technician based at Letlhakane.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Cambridge or BGSE with experience in drilling Ground Engaging Tools,
2. Computer literacy,
3. Valid First Aid Certificate,
4. Diploma or Certificate in any Engineering Field will be an added advantage,
5. Fire Fighting training, handling hazardous chemicals will be added advantage,
6. Valid Class B drivers licence.
7. 3-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN Dilling Ground Engaging Tools

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Servicing DTH hammers,
• Sharpening all drill bits.
• Servicing, troubleshooting and repairing of bit grinders and break out bench,

• Record GET drilled meters,

Record GET change out dates,

Carry out drill rig inspections to determine suitability of GET performance

Monitor drill string performance and make recommendations to conditions affect­ing their performance,

Monitor and control drilling parameters (drilling pressures) and make recommen­dations to drilling crew.

Coach Drill Operators and Drilling Assistants on GET applications and performance.
