Foods Botswana (Pty) Ltd the leading nutritional Food Manufacturer in Botswana located at Serowe We are committed to providing necessary resources for the management, operation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System processes to meet and exceed the requirements of the BOS ISO 9001:2015 Standard. Foods Botswana is in search of a high calibre, self-motivated candidate to fill the following positions tenable at Serowe.

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

QUALIFICATION

The ideal candidate must have at least a Bachelor of Science in Food Science Technology.

EXPERIENCE

The candidate must have experience in microbiological and chemical testing including nutritional testing and must be familiar with ISO – HACCP.

Duties include but not limited to;
•  Sample and test raw material and finished products

•  Monitor and control pests infestation in the plant

•  Performs analysis on raw materials and finished products

•  Monitor quality control activities in the laboratory

•  Data validation (records and documentation)

•  field industrial hygiene knowledge

•  Participate in implementation of Quality Management Systems: BOS ISO 9001.2015

•  Supervises junior staff members
