SENIOR TEACHER- PRIMARY SCHOOL wanted at Botswana Ash (Pty) Ltd

Job Summary:

The major role of the incumbents will be to teach the ’whole child’ by attending to the intellectual, emotional and physical development of the School children. In addition to this the Senior Teacher will be delegated administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the Primary School

Minimum Requirements:

We are looking for a Primary School Teacher with 4 year diploma/ degree. The incumbent should have a minimum of 10 years post­qualification experience with at least S years in an English Medium School, be a dynamic self-starter and confident in the ability to Instil a desire to learn in pupils.

The Ideal candidate will:

• Be able to initiate and develop the broader extra-curricular programme of the school.
• Have excellent administrative and Interpersonal skills.
• Be computer literate, able to use at least Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Have extra-mural qualifications m any of the following; Netball. Soccer, Hockey, Swimming, Tennis, Softball, Athletics, Cricket. Chess and Music
• General administration duties in the Primary School.
• Organise and co-ordinate the extra mural timetable.
• Co-ordinate and assist in planning away trips for educational and sporting events
• Control Primary school stock, stationery and media.
• Assist with discipline In the Primary School.

• Control of Schemes. Forecasts and planning of the Primary School teachers.
