TECHNICAL MANAGER-LOGISTICS OPERATIONS – CHOPPIES

To head a team of logistical technical ass slants, analyse and evaluate operational solutions for the transportation of fast movable consumer goods (FMCG) optimization network modelling process and methods analyses, cost containment capacity enhancement, routing and shipment optimization or information management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the despatch team cost-effectively with good and effective time management
• Possesses sound knowledge on the retail stock movement
• Plan and organize the repays, maintenance services of the trucks, trailers and fridges, tyres and any other assets of the fleet
• Posses the current market knowledge on technical components, communicate with the suppliers, build healthy relations and negotiate prizes in the parts and services receiving to meet the budgetary targets
• Have good technical skills to deal with various supporting IT services for the fleet such as GPS tracking fuel, key management systems etc
• Ability to manage the border operations who possess good administration skills

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• A Bachelor s Degree in Engineering Technology with a minimum of six (6) years in fleet management or any related field
• Must be registered with Botswana Engineers Registered Board (ERB)
• Must have practised at a senior level for a minimum of lour (4) years
