Qualification, Experience and Skills Required:

• Masters Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• A minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant field
• Expertise and Certifications in Microsoft, CISCO, VMware, Server and Network Infrastructure Management
• Implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures
• Servers and workstation maintenance and support
• Team Management

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Manage information technology and computer systems
• Information systems Management
• Manage staff by training and communicating job expectations and appraising their performance

• Build , manage and support university technology infrastructure to improve the university’s service delivery and competitive advantage
• Budget planning and monitoring
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with Clients, colleagues, suppliers and other stakeholders
• Work to achieve the vision and mission of the University by developing  and implementing appropriate strategies, policies and procedures
