Receiving Manager – Eureka Selebi Phikwe and Eureka Gaborone Stores – Trident Holdings

To control the Receiving area and functions and to ensure correct methods are followed for the accurate and efficient receiving of Supplier loads into the Store.

CORE ACTIVITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Review the loads to be received, meeting current stock areas to determine the available capacity
• Deal with customer complaints and respond to the customers with empathy
• Ensure that the inbound order schedule is received from Buyers/Store Manager, review and plan resources according to schedule
• Verify Inbound order schedule details which contains: Supplier, Planned Delivery Date. Planned Delivery Window & Time Order Details and Purchase order saved
• Check stock received for any discrepancies such as Short Supply, Over Supply, Price issues and Damaged stock and process any returns that may be required
• Ensure receiving procedure is understood by all staff and support functions as per SOP’s.
• Manage employees according to the relevant Government Acts, and according to what is fair and
• Demonstrate consistent application of internal policies and procedures
• Adhere to all safety regulations with regards to Forklift driving and other store practices.

Requirements:

• BGCSE, Relevant tertiary education in Administration, Finance and or related field
• 5+ years experience in a FMCG environment in a related role.
• A valid Driver’s license
• Should be able to communicate in both Setswana & English
• Sound knowledge of site environments and workflow requirements
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of Arch System is an advantage
• Excellent planning and analytic skills
• Customer orientation and must be able to work under immense pressure.
