THE POSITION: BRANCH MANAGER

Qualification and Experience:

• Desired tertiary higher certificate or Diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Business Administration with excellent computer skills
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in the elevator/escalator industry
• Schindler product elevator and escalator knowledge imperative
• Commercial and financial skills
• Driver’s license required

Job description:

• Control the implementation of sales and commercial policy in the Branch, according to the established procedures;
• Promote, motivate, coordinate and direct the activities of the Branch, to deliver the Schindler objectives of client satisfaction:
• Coordinate the development and execution of all works, optimize the work-groups, tools and means to meet the objectives of invoicing, activity, yield and quality of the works:
• Coordinate labour relations in agreement with the effective Labour norm, maintaining the necessary meetings with workers and/or representatives:
• Control the application of the safety and health guidelines;
• Manage daily sales business operations to achieve sales budget (Nl, MOD and ESC);
• Conduct weekly / monthly meetings with sales consultants to review action implementation and target achievement
• Report to FO and NSM on sales status and pipeline forecast, operational topics and corrective actions proposed;
• Perform development reviews for all staff, to identify development needs;
• Actively develop staff (quality, efficiency, customer orientation etc.)
