Job Purpose and Scope
The tele-sales team member will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, as well as the promotion and vending of all pharmaceutical products and medical equipment/instruments offered by the establishment. As a tele-sales representative he/she will be integral at meeting sales targets through effective interaction with healthcare organizations and professionals by telephonic means and face-to face consultations.

The role necessitates for the development or rather expansion of the existing client base. Moreover, the tele-sales representative will, on the other hand, be expected to maintain effective and solid relationships with:-
• Key agents
• Distributors
• Customers/end-users
• Cohorts in the organization & Managers
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement brand strategies in order to ensure that a consistent marketing message is communicated to all stakeholders.
• Achieve agreed levels of cold calling activity to maintain existing accounts as necessary and to increase volume/revenue streams by soliciting new clients.
• Avail product information and distribute product samples to licensed practitioners and health care professionals. The tele-sales representative must be able to assess client needs and effectively demonstrate the benefits and usage of products.
• Convene with healthcare professionals and medical representatives e.g (doctors, pharmacists) in order to reach and influence the respective associates in charge in the decision making process.
• Conduct competitor analysis by scrutinizing data and market conditions.
• Participate in on-the-job training sessions and sales meeting to develop a sound knowledge of brand and all products.
• Facilitate with the maintenance and up keeping of accurate records and documentation for reporting feedback and compiling reports.
• Submits and follows up on price quotes.
• Ensures timely delivery, billing and payment of orders by coordinating with appropriate departments and vendors.
• Keep abreast of latest medical trends and developments by pursuing continuous learning and professional development.
Educational Background
BA Degree in Business/Marketing/Medical Sciences or relevant field. Equivalent experience will be taken into account.
Customer Service/Tele-marketing experience will be advantageous.
