SITE QUALITY MANAGER tenable at Khoemacau Copper Mine

Our client, a leading specialist and innovator in water treatment is looking to fill in the position
of Site Quality Manager for a water treatment plant installation. The position is tenable in
Khoemacau Copper Mine and has a fixed term duration of 6 months.

Overview
Overall responsibility for quality planning, quality assurance, quality control, performance improvement, and management of all aspects of quality relevant to the project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, document and maintain quality management systems in compliance
with the project contract and in line with ISO standards
• Monitoring the contractor and sub contractor’s compliance to the contract requirements
• Executing audits, inspections and reviews and follow up of necessary actions
• Identification, measurement and analysis of processes needed for the quality management systems

Key Requirements

• A Botswana citizen with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A degree or diploma in Quality Management or equivalent,
• Plus 3 years post-graduate work experience on project sites.
• Experience in working in the mining industry and water treatment will be an added advantage.
• Competent and experienced in Microsoft applications, e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• In addition, the incumbent must possess strong managerial and leadership competencies.
• Interpersonal and analytical skills are important as is decisiveness and innovation
