Finance Supervisor – Powergate

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or full AAT, with at least intermediate stage in a full professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or CA

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Overseeing the data capture and preparation of on-going monthly management accounts and annual financial statements from the accounting records;

2. Overseeing the preparation of various reconciliations such as bank, payroll, debtors,creditors and tax

3.  Be able to cost products and services with the related overhead apportionment skills;

4.  Review and submission of VAT and PAYE returns of the Company;

5. Train the department staff in their roles;

6.  Engage with banks and other external parties such as customers and suppliers on a need basis;

7.  Prepare monthly cashflow projections and budget versus actual expenditure control reports.

EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES

•  Must have worked in a similar position or in a professional firm of accountants for a minimum of 5 years;

•  Must be able to furnish references on request;

•  Must be proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications W and be an advanced user of Pastel accounting software

•  Must have proven ability to supervise and train staff and manage customer and supplier relationships
