- Planning, directing, controlling, coordinating, and supervising SAFOD administrative functions.
- Signing off programme and project agreements with partner agencies, donors/funders on behalf of the REC when assigned.
- Ensuring the implementation of the resolutions of the General Assembly in consultation with REC.
- Providing leadership in the implementation of the annual work plans approved by the REC.
- Performing other lawful functions assigned by the REC.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCES:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience of progressive leadership and accomplishment working in non-profit administration or community development, with a bias to the disability sector.
- Big picture, visionary thinker.
- Adept at community relations, public speaking, and relating to a variety of stakeholders.
- Prepared to commit to a minimum of five years of service.
- Willing to travel internationally.
- Must be a person with a disability.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for the position the candidate must preferably possess a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development, and/or other relevant discipline.
CONTRACT PERIOD:
Five (5) years fixed term contract (renewable).
