DRIVER wanted at Southern Africa Federation of the Disabled (SAFOD)

To report to the Director-General of SAFOD.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Driving the Director-General and appointed staff to appointments, and functions during the working day and after hours, as necessary.
2. Collecting mail from the post office and taking mail to the post office as and when necessary.
3. Whenever directed by the Head of Finance and Administration, carry out banking as re­quired, cashing cheques, and making transactions at the BURS.
4. Responsible for re-registrations and health procedures for all the vehicle fleet.
5. Undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time.

EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

1. At least five (5) years of work experience.
2. Proven experience of working with passengers with both physical and cognitive disabilities will be deemed a strong attribute.

CONTRACT PERIOD:

Five (5) years fixed term contract (renewable).
