Assistant Accountant

Job Description

1.  Assist with creditor controls.
2. Daily bank balances and reports.
3. Weekly Group performance reports.
4. Assist in annual budget preparations.
5. Assist with preparation of annual audit packs.
6. Assist in monthly management presentations.
7. Review payroll inputs report prior to processing.
8. Review cash flows and debt collections and reports.
9. Maintain accounts for a small property company in ERP.
10. Assist in maintaining internal controls and internal audits.
11. Follow up on monthly management accounts, reports, and reviews.
12. Internal audit plan and carry out internal audits n divisional operations.
13. Ensuring controls over company assets and accurate fixed asset accounting.
14. Co-ordinate Audit planning and documentation with divisional Finance Managers.
15. Execute any other reasonable and moral assignment from superiors to meet the exigencies of service.

Job Requirements

Partly qualified Chartered Accountant registered with BICA or ACCA. At least two (2) years as an Assistant Accountant/Internal Auditor with hands-on experience in one of the reputed ERP or Accounting applications. Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
