Senior Manager – Technical, Logistics & Regional Coordination

The Company

TF is citizen controlled and is presently one of the top five oil Companies operating in Botswana. The Company’s current phase of progression entails the establishment of infrastructure along the North South corridor that will supplement its present coverage of the Trans Kalahari Corridor.

The Job

The main focus of the appointee will be the Company’s transit route operations that comprises of 04 truck stops with investment in infrastructure and manpower (in excess of 300 personnel) to provide 24/7 services to a customer base with fuel uptake in excess of 9.0 million litres per month.

The customer base is substantially cross border based and most cargo originating at ports and main cities in Namibia & RSA to multiple destinations across the borders of Botswana. Given the complexities of long distance and cross border haulage TF’s service offerings extend well beyond supply of fuel. Qualifications/Experience

Minimum of 10 years’ general management experience with significant exposure to transport and cross border related logistics that will enable the incumbent to appreciate and respond to the needs and expectations of TF’s extensive customer base.

Managing the transportation and storage of fuels is a crucial component of the truck stop operations and the applicants should demonstrate understanding and appreciation of underlying HSE disciplines.

Given the regional nature of the customer base, multi-lingual capability will be an advantage.
