SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN wanted at Rabasha Sampson Architects

Rabasha Sampson Architects is searching for a Senior Architectural Technician.

The successful candidate will offer experience, being involved in complex projects, along with strong construction documentation. You will have hands-on experience with detailed drawings, strong ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines and cross-organizational teams, have a keen eye for detail, are a strong critical thinker, and enjoy tackling new chal­lenges and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold relevant qualifications from a recognized institution(s).
• Must be registered with ARC.
• Minimum of 15 years’of experience as a senior technologist/job captain in an architectural firm.
• High proficiency in developing architectural drawing packages and knowledgeable with detailing with other varied complex architectural projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and time management skills.
• Able to work under pressure to complete work and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership and relationship building skills with an ability to direct junior staff to produce presentation and construction documents.
• Strong project coordination experience and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Ability to develop and test architectural solutions at various scales, spearheading implementation of current technologies and methodologies in compliance with international BIM standards.
• Adaptable, agile, and open to accepting design challenges.
• Great critical thinking skills with an ability to think outside the box and work with minimal supervision.
