JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / N3 Certificate
- Valid driver’s licence
- Forklift operator’s licence
Minimum Experience:
- 2-3 years’ experience in Mineral Processing Plants
Key Tasks:
- Assist Service Technician/s with onsite maintenance and repair duties
- Assist with installation of pumps and other Weir products
- Assist with assembling of all Weir equipment
- Cleaning and preparation of parts
- Dismantling of pumps and bearing assemblies
- Able to identify potential solutions and / or improvements related to daily site activities
- Perform general assistant functions as and when required
- Perform standby duties as and when required
- Load and unload trucks when required
- Delivery of Weir spares when required
- Adhere to all SHE and housekeeping requirements at the branch and on site
- Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times
Minimum Skills/Abilities:
- Clear Communication
- Computer Literate
- Able to Solve practical problems in a timely manner
- Able to read technical drawings
- Able to work in a team and respond to Management direction
- Customer Focused
- Safety and Quality conscious
