Risk and Compliance Coordinator

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this highly organised and self-motivated team member, will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating the enterprise risk to enable effective mitigation of potential threats to the organisation. In this role the candidate will ensure company-wide compliance with established processes, policies and procedures to ensure optimal business continuity. The successful candidate is required to be highly organised, have an attention to detail and be able to meet deadlines as part of a highly motivated team.

Job Requirements:

1. A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA and/or Degree in Risk Management plus membership of a relevant and recognised professional body.
2. At least 5 years post qualification experience in Risk Management for a large organisation, preferably in the mining industry.
3. Solid experience in financial management reporting, budgeting, and budget monitoring skills with good knowledge of a fully integrated ERP system.
4. Strong understanding of compliance and risk management principles and processes. Expertise in Enterprise Risk Management will be essential.
5. Solid knowledge and understanding of information and communications technologies and ability to use such technology efficiently.
6. Knowledge of stock audits and stock control in the diamond industry.
