QUALIFIED AUTO ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN/FOREMAN wanted at UV Botswana

A Francistown based Engineering Company requires the services of a skilled

Auto Electrical Technician /Foreman.

The applicant should have the following qualifications and experience.

• Served a recognised apprenticeship / formal relevant qualification in Auto electrics.
• At least 10 years post apprenticeship experience in a formal work environment.
• Having previous experience in a manufacturing facility is an added advantage.
• Must have experience with electronic engine management systems.
• Must be able to read, understand, and produce functional electrical drawings and circuit diagrams.
• Experience in the design of electrical systems related to Trackless Mining vehicles and machines.
• Experience with PDS and CAS systems including installation and fault finding.
• Be able to design electrical systems for new products.
• Proven experience in the procurement of electronic and auto electrical components.
• Experience with Automatic vehicle fire detection systems.
• Experience in working with and implementing quality control systems.
• Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel outside Botswana if necessary.
• Must have a valid Class B drivers licence.
• Must be able to work in a high pressure production environment.
• Must be prepared to go underground if required to do so.
• Must be self-disciplined, proactive, motivated and have the ability manage junior staff.
