DIAMOND (SMALL) FACTORY MANAGER POSITION wanted at Veldt Ventures (Pty) Ltd

Veldt Ventures (Pty) Ltd is looking for a competent Diamond (Small) Factory Manager.

Education:

• Any diamond related qualification

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years post qualification in rough diamond sorting and valuing with knowledge on the rough to polished diamond value chain

Requirement:

• Experience in preparation and delivery of the full mix of rough diamond assortments
• Experience on 0.5 -10 Ct rough
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in handling a Small Diamond Manufacturing Factory (at least 10 Ct or more) as Production Manager
• Should be well versed with manufacturing sizes of: -7/+5, -5/3, -3/+1
• Experience on running a cost effective Small Diamonds Cutting and Polishing high quality goods for Top end jewelry market
• Result orientated and be able to lead 5+ polishers
• Provide technical guidance for polishers to meet production/Quality Requirements
• Make quick decisions based on client and company interests
• Design new process for improving factory manufacturing operations/ reduce cycle times
