The role is responsible for the implementation of training interventions and plans to help employees cultivate their skills and knowledge in order to promote efficiency and thought leadership at WUC by developing the skills of personnel.
It manages learning initiatives around a continuous cycle of needs analysis, design, project management, delivery, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning Needs Assessment & Planning
- Learning Content Design & Development
- Training Logistics Management
- Training & On-Boarding Delivery
- L&D Effectiveness Assessment
- Compliance & Governance
- Culture
Outputs and Measures
- Actual vs. Planned Training/ Learning Interventions
- Change in Individual’s Performance after a defined period of time, after training intervention
- Quality of Content (through Line Manager/SME group feedback)
- Effective Execution of Training/learning Intervention
- Suitable Cost to Develop & Deliver Training/Learning Interventions
- Satisfaction and Value Received by Training Attendants (through feedback forms)
- Accredited Learning Programmes
Qualification and Experience
Learning Facilitator: Technical x2
- A Bachelor’s Degree Education (Technical), Engineering, or related
- A Post-graduate qualification in Education will be an added advantage
- Accredited as a Trainer and Assessor
- Five (5) years’ experience conducting employee development activities, training, or facilitation
- Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting
- Valid Driver’s Licence (Class B)
Learning Facilitator: Non-Technical x1
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Human Resources, Business Administration (Management), Industrial Psychology, Education, or related field
- A Post-graduate qualification in Education will be an added advantage
- Accredited as a Trainer and Assessor
- Five (5) years’ experience conducting employee development activities, training, or facilitation
- Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting
- Valid Driver’s Licence (Class B)

Remuneration
Salary: An attractive Salary Package Commensurate to the market
Leave: 30 working days per annum
Pension: A Contributory Pension Scheme (16.5% WUC and 4% Employee)
