MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN (PLANT MAINTENANCE) POSITION

Tswana Pride (Pty) Ltd is looking for the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Mechanical Technician. The incumbent will be re­sponsible for the repair and maintenance of plant equipment including scheduling of planned maintenance, record keeping, leading and giving training and technical support to maintenance staff.

The incumbent must be a very analytical person, motivated, prepared to work long hours, and be computer literate.

• Air Compressors

Required Qualifications

Must be a Class One Skilled worker preferably apprentice trained in a reputable organization holding either of the following qualification certificates:-

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• National Craft Certificate Mechanical Engineering
• Advance National Craft Certificate Mechanical Engineering

Experience

A minimum of Ten (10) years’ experience in plant maintenance and must have leadership skills, able to work with minimum supervision. Experience in the food manufacturing/ processing industry or related equivalent.
